The workbooks may be completed in any order. You don't have to start with volume one if another subject interests you more. As soon as your child can read or write, he or she is ready for Homeschool Huskies and Ponies, all the way up through 9th or 10th grade. The use of library books allows you to adjust the reading level to suit your child and use the studies with several different ages at the same time.

With the same familiar format as Volumes One, Two, Three, Four, and Five, Volume Six: PlanetPatches boys and girls earn 12 iron-on patches as they work through Unit Studies on our Solar System. Chapters include planetary fact charts, astronomers, and an experiment. Every question in this volume can be answered with a set of encyclopedias and library books. All answers are given, there's no need for a Teacher's Guide. Add some library books with lots of pictures, and these studies become fascinating! Patches are included. It takes approximately 9 weeks to complete this workbook.
